	31.  The Angry Man—April 28, 1959 Although his son has been seriously hurt in an accident, one of Lucas' neighboring ranchers refuses to let him have medical assistance, and because of that the boy may well die.
	32.  The Woman—May 5, 1959 When North Fork's lovely schoolteacher attempts to organize a women's suffrage movement, the town's less progressive element decides to run her out of town.
	33.  The Money Gun—May 12, 1959 Oat Jackford is a rich rancher in North Fork without many friends. He is forcing Sanderson to auction off his farm because his note is due and he publicly beats his former bookkeeper, Asa Manning, and accuses him of stealing from him. Thus it is no great surprise when Tom King, a former bounty hunter now turned professional killer rides into town looking for Jackford. Lucas hates everything King stands for and although he's no friend of Jackford's tries to stop the killing.
	34.  A Matter of Faith—May 19, 1959 Because of a drought, many local cowhands are forced to take construction jobs building a railroad. However, when an old man claims that he has found a way to make rain, the railroad company--afraid that their workers will leave the job and go back to their ranches if they believe the old man--are determined to stop him.
	35.  Blood Brothers—May 26, 1959 When Lucas brings a dying man to North Fork, he notices that Micah has a strange reaction when he first sees the man. He sets out to discover why Micah seems so troubled.
