A summary of the 168 episodes of the show

Season 1

	1.  The Sharpshooter—September 30, 1958 Lucas and Mark McCain ride into the town of North Fork with the hope of buying a ranch and settling down. A shooting match is being held and the prize money could help pay for the ranch...but Jim Lewis, the man who 'runs' North Fork, doesn't want Lucas to win.
	2.  Home Ranch—October 7, 1958 Sam Montgomery and Billy Lehigh ride onto the McCain's new ranch. They work for Oat Jackford and tell Lucas Jackford uses the land and they will have to leave. Things go bad for Lucas when they steal his rifle and burn down his house...Lucas sets out to set Jackford straight.
	3.  End of a Young Gun—October 14, 1958 Two brothers on the run from a posse stop and help Mark who is stuck on a ledge. The younger of the two breaks his leg and a grateful Lucas allows him to recuperate on the ranch. He gets a taste of life without having to run and when his brother returns for him he must decide on which course his life will take.
	4.  The Marshal—October 21, 1958 The Shelton brothers and Lloyd Carpenter ride into the town of North Fork looking to settle a score with someone named Micah Torrance. Micah is a former marshal now with a bad arm and a fondness for whiskey. He is drying out and working for Lucas when the Shelton brothers come calling...a confrontation is inevitable.
	5.  The Brother-in-Law—October 28, 1958 Johnny Gibbs, Lucas' brother-in-law, arrives for a visit at the McCain ranch. A rodeo rider, Gibbs is also on the run from the law, and soon begins to cause trouble in town.
